ZeniMax Media Aquires id Software

This is great news as far as we're concerned as the two legendary companies id Software and Bethesda Game Studios now reside under the same umbrella corporation, ZeniMax Media. This will no doubt lead to great and exiting titles in the future,*as we have come to expect from id Software.

Suppose its not a big jump considering Bethesda and Splash Damage are already working together.

ZeniMax Media owns Bethesda.
And the Bethesda that's working with Splash Damage isn't the game studio.

Bethasda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios are two different things as far as I know.
Where Softworks is the publishing side, which is who Splash Damage works with.

Still, I'd say this is major. id Software is the reason most of us game today.
And even what Splash Damage was formed on.

I'm excited as hell!
