Exclamation Patch out Wednesday 30th June

official post from Dice:

Quote:
Client R8 and Server R15 - Release info

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a lot of trials and tribulations, all versions of the game client has now completed QA successfully.
We will do no more testing on it.

All game servers will need to be taken down for updates. The maintenance period starts on Wednesday Jun 30th at 07:00AM (GMT+2). Most of them should be back up by 11:00AM (GMT+2).

During this time window, we will also release the new game client.

Check back after 11:00AM (GMT+2), and try out the new game client!

I really should get back on the PC fighting alongside you lads.
Just been so meh after work, only wanted some Street Fighter action lately.

How you all holding up, and what's going on?
You all playing together, right? RIGHT?!

Haven't played since I got Red Dead, have to clock Alan Wake now before I get back to the PC. World Cup comes first tbh

#1 bought UFC 2010 for 360
#2 Bough THQ pack on steam, which includes Warhammer Dawn of War II, and Company of Heroes complete
#3 Thursday i`m leaving for Turkey, for 10 days

So those items are keeping me out of Battlefield.

Also when i return:

Star Craft II
Mafia II
Gran Turismo 5
Medal of Honor

will keep me out of Battlefield.

MoH... I will NEVER pay what they ask for that game.
Also, the MP is dev'd by DICE, the BC2 team, and the previews reveal nothing more other than it's likeness, and dullness because of it.

I WAS looking forward to it, until the $60 pricetag for the PC version, and there's no way in hell I'm playing a FPS on the Xbox 360.

Looks like there's only Brink to wait for...

Well, that looks better.
It was first announced being expensive as fuck.

But Euros vs Dollars may be the issue, then. Cheap for us, expensive for them?

I like battlefield more now the patch is out. I can finally get into the action with no spawn lag
Its a pity there isnt a longer but less impactful unlock system inplace in that game. I unlocked everything ages ago which kind of makes the 'unlock' tab rather uneventful now.

I may have to come kick your arses again soon!
If I can find the "CBA" to do it.

I'm enjoying Team Fortress 2 at the moment. Less serious and a lot of fun and action!
